Hadith 2

Narrated Abdullah ibn Yusuf who said, Malik informed me from Hisham ibn Urwah, from Aishah the mother of the believers رضي الله عنها that:

Al Harith ibn Hisham asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, “O Messenger of Allah, how does revelation come to you?” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Revelation comes to me like the ringing of a bell, and this is the severest on me. Then it passes from me after I have grasped what it says. And revelation comes to me from an angel in the form of a man. He talks to me and I grasp what he says.”

Aishah رضي الله عنها said, “Surely I saw revelation descending upon him on a very cold day. Then it passed him and, indeed, sweat was dripping from his forehead.”

Hadith 1

Narrated Al Humaidi, saying that Sufyan narrated from Yahyah ibn Saeed Al Ansari who said, Muhammad ibn Ibrahim Al Tamimi informed me that he heard Alqamah ibn Waqqas Al Laythi saying, I heard Umar ibn Al Khattab رضي الله عنه on the pulpit saying, I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying:

“Indeed actions are judged by intentions, and for every man is what he intended. So whoever migrates for worldly benefits to earn, or for a woman to marry, then his migration is for what he intended.”
